Frequently asked questions
Is this a dating app?
No. It’s a matrimonial platform: serious intentions, verified profiles, a stated marriage timeline. Nothing casual, no endless swiping.
Who can sign up?
Single people aged 21 and over from the Sri Lankan Tamil community, and those close to the culture — wherever they live.
How do you verify profiles?
A selfie and an ID document (national ID card, passport or driving licence), verified by a human within 24 h. The ID is deleted after approval — only the “Verified” status is kept.
Who will see my photos?
Nobody, unless you grant it yourself. Your photos stay blurred for every other member, and no setting reveals them. The only key is your consent: inside a match, when each of you in turn chooses to go further, your main photo — that one alone — is revealed, to that person and to no one else. A meeting is arranged with our team, not by browsing photos.
Can my parents take part?
Yes — by talking to us rather than logging in. There is no online space for them: our team takes their calls and answers their questions. If your family would rather handle things, they can ask us to create your profile and follow it with them — until the day you take the account over yourself.
What about the jathagam / porutham?
Optional, but taken seriously: enter your nakshatra and your rasi (written on your family jathagam), attach a photo of the document that our team reviews, and we compute the 10 poruthams with a method validated by astrologers from the community. The score is only visible between two profiles that both enabled the option.
How much does it cost?
Creating a profile, getting verified and replying to interests you receive: free, always. Sending interests requires Premium access — €99, paid once, no subscription. One interest at a time, and the other person has one week to reply. Any pricing change will be announced in advance, never retroactively.
